It was too wet to go outside and play today.

My name is Raleigh. I am a 9 year old, unemployed CRT monitor.

I like the sound of rain on the window or on a tin roof. I like being the only light source in the room. And I like thunderstorms, even though they are bad for me.

I didn’t lose my job to a Flat screen like most people think. I actually quit, so I could study. I wanted to re-train in something new. I picked an arts degree. I know what you’re thinking, but it keeps the dust off me. In fact I hardly spend any time in doors now which is more than what most office workers can say.

See, I never went to college, well, I went to engineering school with all the other appliances where I specialized in display. I still put out a clearer image than most!

While I’m still hunting for work I decided to pick up a hobby. I want to see the city I have lived in. I mean, I really want to see it. So I have begun my travels; and I will now blog about it – in case I forget.
